I’m Chloe, the founder of The Luxe Paper Co., a bespoke and luxury design studio based in Cambridgeshire, creating beautifully refined and minimalist event stationery with a touch of luxe.
The Luxe Paper Co. was born out of designing stationery for family and friend’s weddings, as well as for my own. From my own experience I understand the importance of a bride’s (or groom’s!) wedding day and know all too well the endless hours that go into planning the ‘big day’.
I strive to fuse minimalistic and modern luxury with traditional methods. Producing one-of-a-kind stationery for events, focusing on weddings. Combining classic typography and elegant designs with opulent paper stocks and finishes to create beautifully bespoke and luxury stationery that will instantly wow your guests.
I adore the wedding industry and am particularly inspired by merging both British and Australian trends. I work alongside some amazing suppliers and talented friends, who help provide me with essential and exceptional materials and services to deliver the highest quality products to my clients.

And recently due to the Covid-19 crisis, I have also been helping my clients with a new type of stationery – change the dates! To help get you started on your stationery journey, here are my top three essential tips:
1. Nail down your wedding aesthetic!
Don’t think about your invitations as standalone items, they need to connect people with your wedding. Therefore, tie your design into your theme through colours, textures and/or personal touches. Like I say to all couples, your invitations are the first look into your special day for your guests and set the tone, style and aesthetic for what’s to come.
Consider the style you are going for. Is it modern? Traditional? Maybe a fusion of styles? What represents you as a couple is the best place to start. Start looking for inspiration everywhere! This might be on Instagram, Pinterest or through various magazines – just start gathering ideas that will help inspire your big day and stationery.
2. Find the right stationery supplier for you…
Once you’ve settled on a wedding style and aesthetic, it’s important you find and work with suppliers who are going to bring your vision to life and help you along the way. Every stationer will have their own personal style and you’ll see that come through the more you look at their work. I love creating refined, modern and minimalist stationery with those luxe touches – from hot foil to wax seals or a beautiful velvet ribbon to finish everything off. I love bold colour palettes paired with pastels and combining classic typography with elegant designs. Once you’ve found your dream supplier the rest will be easy!
3. Numbers and the big ‘B’ question…
It is extremely important when getting quotes to know how many invitations you are going to need (and I don’t mean how many guests you are inviting!) Usually you will send out one invitation per household so use this method to do your maths. I also always recommend adding an extra 10% to your numbers as additional small print runs if you don’t have enough can be extremely expensive.
Speaking of costs, this brings me onto the big question, what is your budget? It is important from the beginning to be realistic about your budget so that I can make recommendations to suit your intended spend. Stationery prices will depend on many factors including quantity, how many inserts you have, size, printing methods, paper stocks and embellishments such as foiling, embossing, debossing etc. Digital print is the most cost effective with letterpress/hot foil being very high-end. We can discuss this further and I would be happy to take you through the best options for you, based on your budget.
