Rebecca Anne Veils

You may be reading this blog having already decided against a veil. But have you tried one on yet? Have you considered the possibilities of a personalised bespoke accessory…?

During almost a decade of managing boutiques and styling brides, my favourite moments have been when a bride tries a veil “just to rule it out” only to find that it’s the finishing touch for their bridal style. The sentiment of wearing a veil has never changed. There is something dreamy and romantic about styling your gown with a soft tulle that has had an emotional attachment going back generations.

But which veil do I choose? What length do I need? Should I go simple or have something a little more unique?

I always suggest that my brides decide on The Dress first – lets be fair, it’s the part of our wedding day that most of us have dreamt about for years! Your veil needs to enhance your dress, not distract from it, so it’s important we get the length and design right. Your dress gives me a really good idea of your overall style and personality – something we can also explore together during my free initial design consultation on a phone or video call.

Made to order, a Rebecca Anne veil can be customised to suit your bridal style perfectly. I offer script veils of beautiful lettering which could be meaningful words such a line from ‘your song’ or a favourite quote you and your partner share. Perhaps you’d simply like your initials or names, and wedding date. I can also embroider pattern which we can discuss during a free initial design consultation. We could play with mirroring the shapes in the lace on your dress, or embroider the same flowers that you have chosen for your bridal bouquet. The opportunities are endless and the beauty of working together on your design means every veil I create is completely unique.

I look forward to hearing from you to design the perfect finishing touch for your wedding day and a beautiful heirloom to treasure forever.
