When Tegan and her husband were planning their own wedding, they were looking for a ceremony that would capture their personalities and would provide them with the flexibility to be creative. Tegan was inspired by this unique and personal experience and so many of her wedding guests commented on how beautiful and memorable the ceremony was.
It was this experience that interested Tegan to find out more about Humanism. She really felt a connection to the Humanist philosophy and with a love for life and the joy of celebrating all kinds of milestones, it felt like a natural progression to train as a celebrant in 2017 with Fuze Ceremonies.
Tegan’s background is working with children and families. She embraces life and loves to be with her family and friends to ensure that she builds magical memories. She is always very honoured to be asked to bring families together and be a part of their celebrations. Tegan’s favourite moment of being a celebrant is watching the reactions on her couples faces when they see each other for the first time on their wedding day. The range of emotions is incredible!
Tegan feels being a celebrant is a privilege. She loves every part of the journey she takes with her couples from the initial meeting, listening to stories, writing a bespoke ceremony, and of course the official ‘I do’s’!
Tegan is based in Dundee and is happy to travel to all areas of Dundee, Angus, Perthshire and Fife to conduct legal Scottish ceremonies and elopements.
